Tanzania Safari - 4 Days Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater

This 4 days Tanzania safari tour the enormous plains from Serengeti, renowned with great prides of lions and also annual wildebeest migrations. Ngorongoro crater - the Eighth Wonder of the world, and afterwards procced to see around 300 types of wild birds in Lake Manyara National Park, located to the west of Arusha town.

Day 1: Arusha – Lake Manyara

Upon arrival to Arusha, you will meet the tour guide according to plans and embark on the 80 miles trip to Lake Manyara National Park, to the west of Arusha town. Get time for an organized lunch meal at the lodges, and, get ready for an afternoon game drive within true African natural beauty. The park has got the soda lake, Manyara occupying nearly two thirds on the entire park area and it is a host to water fowl including flamingoes, herons as well as vultures. The escarpment park is a home for numerous animals, popularly for the tree climbing lions along with many elephants.
You can find lodging from the park where you’ll enjoy a dinner prepared with you in mind. Overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge or Kirurumu Tented Camp.

Day 2: Lake Manyara – Serengeti Plains

After breakfast, start on a trip up to Serengeti National Park, seeing the beautiful hill farmlands along with the abundant Ngorongoro Conservation Area on the way. Ultimately, the gateways of Serengeti Park are here! This wide park is part of the larger Serengeti ecosystem which gets to the Masaai Mara to southern Kenya and to Ngorongoro as well as other Game Controlled areas and reserves including, Maswa, Loliondo, and Grumeti. Famous for the yearly wildebeest migration during December until February, this park offers much more wildlife sights from Seronera riverside and even Mara. Here you’ll see great prides of lions, buffalos, elephants, hartebeests, warthogs, crocodiles, pythons in addition to amazing kopjes. You might alternatively, experience a luxurious safari by a hot air balloon, in the early morning to get a clear view point above the enormous grasslands, water streams, animals and also amazing landscapes. Day 3: Serengeti Plains – Ngorongoro crater

Day 3 has a day at the nearby Ngorongoro conservation area, game drives to the rich volcanic crater and some time at archaeological Olduvai Gorge. Join in on history as you experience and know more about Dr. Leakey’s efforts on the history of human beings, many years back.
Get there in time for lunch from the lodge and then tour in to the 610 great volcanic crater with Lake Magadi on the crater floor. The Park sustains a vast variety of animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippos, herds of elephants as well as its many predators; lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and also the leopard. The shallow alkaline Crater Lake is home to a number of water birds including herons and pink flamingoes. Overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge at the Crater Rim.

Day 4: Ngorongoro crater – Arusha

Have breakfast at the lodge, you will visit a Masai Village or go for a morning hiking in the Ngorongoro Forests before driving back to Arusha for lunch and get your departure flight.
